Puppy Playdays

10 a.m. to 12 noon at

Hazel Tree Kennels, Great Brington NN7 4JL

You are welcome to turn up on the day, but, to maximise the benefits to your puppy, spaces are limited so book a place for your puppy now.

We provide a safe and secure outdoor environment for your puppy. It is important for your puppy to get used to being in a different environment and with different people during puppy hood. He/she will feel relaxed and will be able to meet and play with other puppies. You will also have the opportunity to meet and chat with fellow puppy owners.

This early socialisation with other dogs teaches you and your puppy how to act and react around others dogs; you will be confident when out with your dog and you will have a well socialised/balanced dog, who mixes well with other dogs when they get older and bigger.

Our ‘Puppy Playdays’ include:

• Supported playtime and socialisation
• Personal Training with a dog behaviourist Paul Daly
  • Walking on a lead
  • Walking through a gate
  • Sit, Down, Wait, Come, Stay
  • Recall
  • Timing reward/treat training
• Puppy health

Are you a ‘first-time’ puppy owner?

To complement our ‘Puppy Playdays’, we also provide in-home training. This is to help you support your puppy to become accustomed to normal noises around the home including: door bell, the television/radio, washing machine, lawn mower and vacuum cleaner. We can also advise on your home set up for: puppy space/crate training, toilet training, greeting visitors. This provides an essential foundation for you and your puppy and helps prevents stress and fear of such things later in life.
